Star Dust
Star Dust was Jill Mattson’s second full-length Sound Healing Album. It remains one of her most famous works. Star Dust consists of original scores entirely written and performed by Mattson. The collection features complex music strewn with beneficial vibrations from the heavens. The net effect is pleasing harmonic music with intriguing multidimensional frequencies. There is a beautiful embedded sound, resembling wind chimes, with pitches unavailable on our standard musical instruments of today. The additional complexity due to the Planet’s tones gives great peacefulness and helps take us back to our heavenly roots.
Jill studied the work of Hans Cousto and utilized his methods to derive the frequencies of the Sun, the Earth, and other Planets. She increased the frequencies of these celestial bodies by successive octaves until the sound was in the range audible to the human ear. These frequencies were then recorded as a component of all the Star Dust tracks. Similar techniques were used to add the frequencies for the key elements: Oxygen, Hydrogen, Carbon and Nitrogen to Star Dust. These are the most abundant elements in the Stars and the most plentiful elements in our bodies! And amazingly – as we have all learned – these elements are only made inside of the Stars and recycled in our bodies here on Earth. We truly are one with the entire Universe.
