What are the Solfeggio and Fibonacci Tones?
Paint Your Soul consists of original scores entirely written and performed by Jill Mattson. The Fibonacci Tones
The Fibonacci series of numbers (found in the geometries of solar systems, plants, seashells, the human body, and in some of the world’s most loved art and architecture) has also been converted into musical form in the Paint Your Soul music collection.
The Fibonacci numbers (or sound frequencies – where music is concerned), when graphed, reveal a spiral pattern (Nautilus shell). In contrast, graphs of analogous notes in Western music create a circle. Many ancient traditions held that listening to the “spiral” pattern of sound “quickens” the listener’s soul, enabling it to rise closer to God and enlightenment.
Paint Your Soul uses tuning forks to produce the pure Fibonacci tones of this spiral pattern. According to ancient traditions, this sound pattern carves a pathway into the listener’s consciousness, elevating him spiritually and creating new brain wave paths that expand consciousness.
Many mystics and some scientists agree that numerical patterns are beneficial to us when converted to frequencies. For example, Leonardo De Pisa (who lived approximately 1180 – 1240 AD), better known as Fibonacci, observed numeric principles of branching, flowering, and spiraling patterns in nature. In nature, the Fibonacci series of numbers: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55… unto infinity. Are
found extensively.
Adding any two adjacent Fibonacci numbers
will give you the following number in the series.
The ratio of neighboring Fibonacci numbers approaches phi (1.618). These same ratios are found in our bodies, the spiral of a seashell, and billions of stars from distant galaxies. Nature loves this pattern, as it uses it again and again!
Intervals within major musical chords approximate the Fibonacci numbers 1, 3, 5, and 8, linking specially pitched music and the Fibonacci tones. For example, the following number in the Fibonacci series is 13. When the 8th and 13th tones are played together, they create the 8/13th interval. Although the first four tones are approximated in our music, the fifth ratio is not included at all. Some believe
the 8/13th interval harmonizes and raises our consciousness and precipitates humanity’s next evolutionary step.
Paint Your Soul uses the Fibonacci frequencies, including the 8/13 interval. One does not hear the exact Fibonacci frequencies in our music today, because the frequencies are between our smallest intervals in the musical scale. The Paint Your Soul CD creates the pure tones of this spiral pattern by using tuning forks designed to create these exact frequencies.
The Solfeggio Tones
The musical elements in Paint Your Soul music collection include numerical sound frequencies encoded in the Bible (Numbers 7:12-83). Joseph Puelo revealed these Biblical frequencies, called the “Solfeggio Tones.”
Ancient clairvoyants could see someone’s aura light up whenever they listened to this pattern of frequencies, called the Solfeggio tones. They saw the healing power of these unique frequencies. As people lost clairvoyant vision, the tones were encoded in the Bible to ensure their safekeeping through the ages. These tones sparkle throughout the Paint your Soul CD.
The numerical pattern of the Solfeggio tones was incomplete, as evidenced by unfinished numerical sequences. The fully completed series has18 tones that are created with tuning forks for precision. All 18 tones are contained in the Paint Your Soul CD.
Some kings’ chambers in Egyptian pyramids resonate to a solfeggio tone. 1 The numbers representing the solfeggio tones are the dimensions of unique rooms. Secret writing revealed that initiates conducted out-of-body meditations in these ideal vibratory spots.
The solfeggio tones are associated with the Essenes 2 , a tribe of ancient Jews. Many believe that Jesus and Moses belonged to this mysterious sect that was eradicated in 70 AD. Nancy Lazaryan, an associate of Scientist Hutchinson, connected the Essenes and the solfeggio tones, which she called “healing streams of sound.” This ‘inner circle’ called the Solfeggio tones the Harmonics of the Creator.”
Sekina Rose, a channeler, elaborated on the power of the solfeggio tones, “These codes of the creator can create a world filled with peace and love where the power elite would not have control.” 4 Sekina Rose testified that heavenly beings that she channeled referred to the Solfeggio frequencies as the “Language of Light.”
She also described the benefits of these magical frequencies. “These tones restore balance and healing to life. They also transmute damaged DNA, toxins, pollutions, and negativity into the natural divine order of harmony and source creation.”
Shekina instructed that we become more proficient at using the solfeggio tones by singing and listening to them.

Solfeggio History
In the Old Testament, the content of Numbers 7:12 – 89 in the Bible is a seemingly unimportant text that lists mundane activities that occurred on different days. To break the Bible’s code, the Pythagorean skein 9 is applied to the numbers of the verses that correspond to each day. For example,
- Verse 12 describes activities from the first day. Verse 12 has a Pythagorean skein of 12… or 1 +2 = 3.
- The second day starts on verse 18… or 1 + 8 = 9.
- The third day is described in verse 24… or 2 + 4 = 6.
The first set of numbers in the solfeggio code combines the Pythagorean skeins, resulting in 396.

The ancient Solfeggio scale was used in some Gregorian chants that were removed from the repertoire of the Catholic Church. Professor Emeritus Willi Apel 10 noted the solfeggio tones in a medieval song entitled Hymn for John the Baptist composed by Paolo Diacono (720 – 799 AD).
The Latin words of the song are:
- Ut queant laxis
- Resonare fibris
- Mira gestorum
- Famuli tuorum
- Solve polluti
- Labii reatum
This translates to:
So your servants may sing at the top of their voices the wonders of your acts and absolve the fault from their stained lips.
The first six lines of the hymn correspond to each note in the solfeggio scale. This is a technique for musical teaching – in which each note of the scale is sung to a particular syllable. Medieval solfeggio syllables were ut, re, mi, fa, sol and la. A morphed version of the solfeggio scale is heard today in the 1959 movie, The Sound of Music. The song “Do, Re, Mi,” helped people memorize these syllables representing musical notes. In English-speaking countries, the seven syllables commonly used for this practice are: do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, and si.
The medieval solfeggio scale was modified several times. Changes included:
- The frequencies were changed.
- Several initial syllables have been changed. For example, the name of the first note of the scale in our culture is do, but it used to be ut.
- Additional notes and syllables were added.
The solfeggio tones were encoded in Numbers thousands of years before Christ. Yet, this knowledge has survived through the centuries, ending in unsuspecting places like medieval Gregorian chants.
Regardless of the veracity of the claims regarding the solfeggio tones, one thing remains for sure. The solfeggio tones are shrouded in mystery. Why are they encoded in the Bible or in room dimensions in ancient Egypt? Why are these frequencies safeguarded and who created these secrets in the first place? Unfortunately, not all of the answers are apparent, allowing future detectives to unravel more mysteries.
3-6-9 Patterns and the Solfeggio Tones
The solfeggio tones have a unique relationship with the numbers 3, 6 and 9. When the Pythagorean skein is applied to the solfeggio numbers, a 3, 6, 9 pattern appears.
Master numbers are also encoded within the solfeggio frequencies. For example, octaves of the master numbers 33, 66 and 99 are hidden within the solfeggio tones. The 528 tone is an octave of both 33 and 66. The frequency of 396 is an octave of 99 hertz.
When adding neighboring solfeggio tones and applying the Pythagorean skein, there are six 111 triple digits found within each set of solfeggio and reverse solfeggio tones.
The solfeggio frequencies have another curious relationship with triple master numbers. The number three can be added or subtracted from some of the solfeggio numbers and a triple master number is found. For example, with 396, for the first digit 3, 3 + 3 = 6; for the second number 9, 9 – 3 = 6 and 6 is left alone. The numbers are combined to form 666.

Master Numbers and their Meaning
